Fever Take Down Sparks in Overtime Thriller

The Indiana Fever defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 90-87 in an overtime thriller on Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Victoria Vivians led the Fever with 25 points, while Nneka Ogwumike paced the Sparks with 23 points.
The Fever took an early lead in the game, but the Sparks rallied to tie the score at the end of the first quarter. The two teams traded baskets throughout the second quarter, and the Fever held a slim 45-43 lead at halftime.
The Sparks took the lead in the third quarter, but the Fever fought back to tie the score at the end of the fourth quarter. The game went into overtime, and the Fever took control in the extra period. Vivians hit a big three-pointer to give the Fever a 85-80 lead, and the Fever held on for the win.
